2nd On-the-spot Peer Review of the Food sector in Pécs
The 2nd On-the-spot peer review week in the Food sector was organized in Pécs, Hungary between 14-18. November 2011. Sara Dell’Elce and Carlo Pignatari from CNA, Italy and Borut Zrim and Aleksandra Krumpak from Promurje Technology Park, Slovenia were attended on this week as peers. During this visit the peers hold meetings with stakeholders to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of the South Transdanubian region´s sectoral innovation system. The interviewees were representatives of the University of Pécs and Kaposvár, Research Institute of Viticulture and Oneology, Teleki Zsigmond Agricultural Vocatinal Training School (Villány), Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Baranya and Somogy countys and colleagues of innovative companies such as Fino Food Ltd., Gere Winery or Mecsekdrog Ltd.
As a conclusion the peers -based on the gained experiences- will prepare an in-depth assessment report with a series of recommendations for improvement for the South Transdanubian Region.
