Peer reviews in Baden-Württemberg

From 09th to 14th of October 2011 a delegation of the ACCESS project visited Stuttgart in southern Germany. Visits at Daimler AMG, the MOTEK fair and at the Department of Commerce were part of the journey.

Das Geheimnis der Innovationen

Europäische Delegation des Projekts „ACCESS“ besucht Region Stuttgart

Fellbach, 24.10.2011 – Was macht die Unternehmen in der Region Stuttgart so innovativ? Dieser Frage gingen die 6 Teilnehmer der europäischen Delegation des „ACCESS“-Projekts eine Woche lang nach. Die Delegierten aus Österreich, Polen und der Slowakei interviewten dazu verschiedene Experten aus der Region, um bewährte Innovationsverfahren und Methoden zu erforschen.
Ziele der Delegation waren unter anderem die Messe für Montage-, Handhabungstechnik und Automation (Motek), die Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart das Wirtschaftsministerium in Stuttgart und Mercedes-AMG in Affalterbach. Über 15 Experten von der Technikschule Esslingen bis zum Steinbeis Europa Zentrum standen Rede und Antwort zum Thema Innovationsförderung und Innovationsmanagement.

Nach einer Woche voller interessanter Inhalte und Tipps der Experten reisten die einzelnen Projektteilnehmer wieder zurück in ihre Heimatländer. Das nächste Treffen der ACCESS Delegation, an der auch Mitarbeiter des Virtual Dimension Centers Fellbach teilnehmen, findet in Linz, Oberösterreich statt. Am Ende des Projekts wird ein ausführlicher Bericht veröffentlicht der Ideen und Ansätze rund um die Innovationsförderung der Wirtschaft beinhaltet und somit einen Beitrag zur europäischen Wirtschaftsförderung leistet.

Das EU-Projekte ACCESS startete bereits Anfang März 2010. ACCESS steht dabei für „ACCelerating regional competitivenESS and sector-based excellence through innovation management” und hat zum Ziel Dienstleistungen im Bereich Innovationsmanagement und Technologietransfer zu verbessern. Dies soll durch den Austausch von Erfolgsrezepten und der Entwicklung einer gemeinsamen transnationalen Strategie in diesem Bereich umgesetzt werden.

Das Projekt ist auf eine Dauer von rund 3 Jahren angelegt und finden im Rahmen von „INTERREG IV B“, einer Gemeinschaftsinitiative des Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung zur Förderung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Regionen der EU, statt. Mit beteiligt sind neben dem Virtual Dimension Center auch weitere europäische Organisationen beispielsweise aus Ungarn, Österreich oder Italien.
